Dr. Jean Bichara, Periodontist
I am a board-certified Periodontist who received my dental degree from New York University in 1992 & Periodontal Specialty Certificate from the University of Louisville ;in 1997 with a master degree in Oral Biology.
My extensive training in the field of dental implants and bone regeneration, as well as my participation in multiple published clinical studies, allow me to be an integral part of Dr. Champagne’s team in creating the smiles and achieving the functions that his patients desire. One of my greatest enjoyments is to see the transformation that patients go through and finally watch the thankful look and appreciation on their faces.
On a personal note, I am married to my lovely wife Raghan. We had the blessing of celebrating the birth of our twins Joel and Tia in January, 2009. They are the joy of our life. As a family, we enjoy traveling and taking outdoor walks. I love to play tennis in my spare time and ski to keep in shape.
Dr. Gordon Barnes, Anesthesiologist
Dr. Barnes is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry and the University of Health Sciences, Antigua School of Medicine. He completed his dental residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and his anesthesia residency at Brookdale Medical Center, also in Brooklyn, New York.
In 1993 Dr. Barnes started Paramount Ambulatory Anesthesia, a provider of office based ambulatory anesthesia for the pediatric dental patient. He also held a part-time attending position at Interfaith Medical center from 1993-2000 and at Bronx Lebanon Hospital from 2000-2001, where he was responsible for delivering anesthesia care to the pediatric and mentally challenged patents in the dental department. He was also responsible for delivering weekly lectures on anesthesia/sedation to the dental residents.
Dr. Barnes is a Diplomate in the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology and has been practicing office based anesthesia for the past 14 years in the New York metro area.
Joseph Aiello, DDS, Implantologist
I attended New York University College of Dentistry where I was honored for my work in cosmetic dentistry. My undergraduate degree is in pharmacy and I was registered pharmacist for 10 years before attending dental school. After graduation from NYU, I attended a residency for implant surgery and restoration and I am experienced in all phases of implant surgery and bone grafting procedures. My hobbies include photography, physical fitness and I have a Black Belt in Vahda Kempo Karate. My newest personal challenge is to learn to play the guitar. I am excited to be a part of Champagne Smiles and it is my goal to deliver high quality dentistry with compassion and establish lifelong relationships with our patients.
Inga Rozenberg, Hygienist
I graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1995 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. The first 10 years of my career were spent at the top dental offices in Manhattan. I am proud to bring this tradition of excellence to Dr. Champagne’s office, where world-class dental care is the only acceptable standard.
I reside in Marlboro with my husband Alex and our two children, Rebecca and Daniel. We are a family of animal lovers with a French bulldog, Louis, and a hairless cat, Lola.
Erin Hahn, Dental Assistant
I have been with Dr. Champagne since 1994, after attending Brookdale Community College for Dental Assisting and Dental Radiology. In 1996, I received my Certification in Dental Assisting, as well as a license for Registered Dental Assistant in 1997. I continue to take courses involving advanced education in dentistry. Married in 1991 to Joseph, I enjoy caring for my family, which includes my wonderful son Matthew, born in 1998. My son has developed a love for football, so we spend a lot of time on the gridiron. My hobbies include physical fitness and enjoying the great outdoors.
Irene "Renie" Diodato, Concierge Coordinator
I have been working at Champagne Smiles since 2007 and in that time I have worked at the front desk along side Lisa,chair side with Dr. Champagne and Dr. Bichara and most recently as the hygiene coordinator with Inga and Jane. I pride myself on really listening to our patients so that their experience in our office is the most comfortable it can be. What I love about our practice is that everyone goes above and beyond to treat our patients well. It’s great to be a part of a wonderful dental team here at Champagne Smiles.
Lisa Palasciano, Financial Coordinator
One of the things I discovered early in my 20 years in the dental profession is that there is no such thing as a boring day. Since I consider myself a "people person," interacting with such wonderful patients and co-workers on a daily basis is a blessing. I enjoy taking continuing education courses and recently completed a three-day workshop in Arizona on Practice Building and was happy to share the skills I acquired with my co-workers.
My husband Gary and I have a favorite expression which is "life is not a dress rehearsal," which is why we try to live our lives to the fullest. We love traveling and taking long walks on the beach with our Miniature Schnauzer, Maggie.
Being a very active person, I am very fortunate to live close to the Jersey Shoreline. I either jog in the morning or ride my bike into Sandy Hook to watch the sunrise, and in the early evening I enjoy kayaking on the Navesink River during sunset.
I am also a New Jersey Licensed Realtor and spend much of my spare time selling homes near the Jersey Shore.
Melissa LaRocca CDA, RDA
In 1992 I decided to take a class in Dental Assisting and absolutely loved it. Shortly after I attended Middlesex County College and obtained my licensing in Dental Radiology and my Certification in Dental Assisting. In 1995 I also received my licensing for Registered Dental Assistant. It is so rewarding to help other people and be able to make them smile. In my spare time you will find me out in the garden, cooking or just hanging out with my two dogs Lucy and Daisy.
Sandra Moellmann
Through the years I have had great opportunities to expand my knowledge in the dental industry. I enjoy working with people and specialize in helping families understand and utilize their benefits and other financing options so that they can get the dental treatment they need and deserve. I take great pride in what I do.
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, I moved to New Jersey in 2000. My husband, Bobby, and I have been blessed with three absolutely amazing boys, Michael, Tyler and Gage. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, lounging by the pool, football, kickboxing, continuing education courses and volunteering. I have always had a passion to help others, especially children and have been a foster parent for over 8 years.
Here at Champagne Smiles we have a team that prides ourselves in making each patient feel welcome and comfortable. It is my pleasure to meet each of our patients and help to make their dental experience a positive one. I look forward to seeing you and your family soon!
